Hello, my name is Rahim Panjwani and I am a portrait and lifestyle photographer based out of Seattle, Washington since November 2020. I love being able to capture people in both posed and candid situations to showcase them in their best light. My aim is to create a comfortable environment for you by getting to know you and keep it light. You can check out some of these posed and candid photos in my Portraits/Candids section.
A little about me and how I got started in photography and why it means so much to me. I grew up in Phoenix, went to school in Atlanta, then Cincinnati for work at GE Aviation 3D printing jet engine hardware, and now in Seattle working at Blue Origin to 3D print rocket hardware! Every day, I work with a set of strict rules to make sure engine parts meet all safety and customer requirements. It's a very technical, regimented role that I love, but I didn't get to see the end product always so I felt as if I was losing my passion for aerospace. I needed something else to help drive my passion and that quickly became RPan Photography. Photography started in summer of 2018 as a creative outlet away from my technical day to day work and it quickly became my favorite activity, and now second career. Photography helps me maintain a fresh perspective in my life and allows me to approach situations in a different light. It's also helped me re-ignite my love for aerospace and cityscapes.
